not giving up.

i promise i still have intentions of putting this thing to use.

we are back out on the road again, currently in memphis. i just ate soooo much food thanks to mama kinder. she made her famous "build your own burritos" that are way legit.

i am going to make another attempt at keeping everyone up to date this go around. no promises though...as on our last tour i discovered its more difficult to find internet and time to write blogs than i had anticipated.

we will see how it goes, off to the young avenue deli in memphis now to play a show.

still not a good blogger.

so we are a little over a week into the tour and ive only posted one blog.

my apologies.

it seems to be harder to find free time and internet than i expected.

even now, im sitting in a wendy's in toledo ohio using their internet before our show tonight.

i dont want to bore anyone with play by play details of the tour thus far,

so i will just say it has been really good so far. 

we havent had any bad shows,

cornerstone was amazing...all three of our shows went well and were well attended.

we got to hang out with a lot of friends at cstone we dont get to see as much as we would like.

also my cousin scott was there this year for his first year so it was cool seeing him around and getting to hang out with him there as well.

while we were at cornerstone we made some sweet connections, one being with the magazine Relevant. they did an interview and our going to do a feature of us in one of their upcoming issues. they already posted a little article on their website about us...you can see it here.

also a sweet blog from south carolina is doing a sort of on the road interview segment on us as we make our way to south carolina, you can see that here.

in other news, everyone in our band seems to be a bit under the weather, which is not good since we are all cooped up in a van for multiple hours each day.

our van is like a breeding ground for sickness right now.

i keep meaning to load some pictures onto my computer so i can share them with everyone,

but i just keep forgetting.

i promise some soon.

and we talked to his body guard.

i already feel like this tour is going to be legit.

the first post.

 following the trend of several of my family members, and even more of my friends, i decided to start a blog. the concept is not new to me, i just felt like it was time to leave xanga behind and move on to newer, more mature things...like blog spot?

my goal is to write on here relatively often in hopes to let those who care enough about me to actually read this thing, know what is going on in my life and on the road. i make no promises that what i write will be extremely interesting. i do promise there will be numerous misspelled words and punctuation errors in pretty much every post, im sorry if that offends you.

with all that said,  i really shouldnt be sitting here writing my first blog right now. we (my band the Rocketboys) leave for a 5+ week tour tomorrow and i am no where near ready to leave. i have a lot of errands to run and affairs to get in order before i can leave. in the future i hope to spice up my posts with jewels like photographs and videos, but due to my time constraint, i will just post the route of our tour and say if we are coming to a city near you, come hang out.
